Got something you don’t need and think someone might want? Left-over insulation from a renovation project (I’ll go first 🙂 ) winter tires for a car you no longer own or have you been hoarding pillows? (again me) Here’s a handy place to add those items in the comments below to share and see if one of our neighbours can take it off your hands.

I would like to extend a special thank-you to my gardening co-partner, Judi, and all our volunteers — Fred, Pat, Brian, Jamie, Kathy, Ron, Vicky, Joseph, Yvonne & Gordon (non residents, my house guests) — who participated in the soil distribution to all the common area gardens, trees & hedges.

    It was great… and lots of fun to see our community come together on this project. I personally, am so very pleased with the outcome and think our property looks so much better.

    Also, special thanks to those who have donated plants & shrubs to these gardens. Going forward, we want to ask all residents, if anyone has any perennial plants in their gardens that they are splitting, please donate them to our community gardens.

    And… if passing by any of the gardens, seeing any weeds, please feel free to pull them out. 😀

  4. It is time again for our annual Lemonade for Terry sale! The girls have started their fundraising for this year’s (in-person!) Terry Fox Run at coronation park. We will have lemonade, coffee and treats at the corner of Grand and Hampton from 9am to 12pm on Saturday August 6th. We hope to see you there!!   6. Flower beds look great Thanks to all you hard workers I think it woud be great if every spring natural cedar chips could be put on beds to hold precious sprinkler water in, keep errosion and
    weeds down and nourish the soil

  7. Art For Sale 🙂

    Hello neighbours,

    Matt here from unit 24! First time posting here so forgive me if I mess up formatting!

    I have been pouring fluid art for a while now and have finally gotten pretty good! My fluid art is acrylic pour painting, it involves carefully mixing and measuring paints with pouring medium and silicone oil (sometimes) to be strategically poured and manipulated on a stretched canvas (Google/YouTube “abstract pour painting,” you will not be disappointed).

    If anyone reading this is interested in supporting my journey, or would like to purchase some artwork I would be very grateful.     I wanted to let everyone know that we will be hosting our annual “Lemonade for Terry” sale this Saturday August 26th from 10am-1pm. As always, all money raised will go to the Terry Fox Foundation to support critical cancer research. We will have lemonade and home-made baked treats. We will also have some garage sale items this year.

    To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope, we are hosting our annual Lemonade for Terry event at the Pump and Patio in Oakville from 12-3pm on Sunday August 31st. We will have lemonade as well a 50/50 draw and some amazing items for auction (Blue Jays tickets, Wine Tastings, gift baskets and more!). We would love to see you there!
