Official Documents

All condominiums in Ontario are governed by provincial law. The basic act that applies to our condominium is the Condominium Act 1998 and the related Regulations.

Condominium Act 1998
Regulations

Our specific condominium Halton Condominium Corporation 372 has as its basic document it’s Declaration. You would have received a copy of this when you purchased the unit, but for easy reference here is a copy for your information. There are also By-laws and Schedules attached to this Declaration.

Declaration Document

From time to time the Board has also determined that it was appropriate to publish specific rules related to the operation of the Condominium. At present there are two Rules that are in force:

  1. Rule on Patio Structures
  2. Rule on Tenancy

In addition to these basic documents there are other documents that are updated on an annual or periodic basis. They are as listed below:

Budget This is the link to the budget for the year starting January 1, 2024.

Financial Statements This is the link to the audited Financial Statements for the year ending December 31, 2023.

Reserve Fund

Every three years there is a requirement to update the Reserve Fund held by the Corporation. This Reserve Fund is maintained to ensure there are sufficient funds available to repair and maintain the Common Elements of the Corporation. When the study is approved by the Board, it published a Notice of Future Funding (NOFF) which shows the status of the Reserve Fund and the projected fee increases to maintain the Corporation’s assets. A new Notice of Future Funding (NOFF) for the 2022 Reserve Fund Study is on the Archives page.
